Equipment & Technology

The tools behind the data.

Oculus deploys sensors, scanners, drones, and processing software from the world’s leading manufacturers. Every instrument is selected for the project at hand, not locked to a single vendor.

Our Approach

How We Select Equipment

Oculus is technology-agnostic. We do not represent or resell any single brand. Instead, our engineers evaluate each project against sensor accuracy requirements, environmental conditions, site geometry, reporting standards, and budget before recommending the right instrument for the job.

For vibration and environmental monitoring, we stock Sigicom, Instantel, Sonitus, TSI, and Worldsensing units because each fills a different niche: IoT-connected long-term deployments, portable blast recording, permanent noise terminals, real-time dust measurement, and multi-year geotechnical installations.

For reality capture, we run Trimble, Leica, and FARO terrestrial scanners alongside NavVis and GeoSLAM mobile mappers, DJI and Wingtra drones, and Emesent autonomous underground systems. Processing runs through Metashape, Pix4D, RealityCapture, RealWorks, Cyclone, and CloudCompare depending on the deliverable format and client platform.

This breadth means the project determines the technology, not the other way around.

Accuracy First

Every sensor is selected against the project's measurement tolerance, not a standard kit list.

Environment Matched

IP ratings, temperature ranges, and dust protection are matched to site conditions.

Standard Compliant

Instruments meet AS 2187.2, DIN 4150-3, IEC 61672, and EPA requirements for regulatory acceptance.

Vendor Neutral

No equipment exclusivity. Data is delivered in open formats compatible with any downstream platform.
